Resemblences between Gymnosperms and Pteridophytes

Resemblences between Gymnosperms and Pteridophytes:-

i. Both Pteridophytes and Gymnosperms show alternation of generation with dominant sporophytic generation. 

ii. In both groups, the sporophyte is differentiated into roots, stem and leaves.
